Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across all key stages.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages creativity, innovation, and practical skills.
  • Support the spiritual and moral development of students within a Catholic educational framework.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental performance and student outcomes.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning.

  • Maintain accurate records and assess student progress effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design and Technology.
  • Proven ability to teach across key stages.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and values.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in a Multi Academy Trust or similar educational setting.
  • Leadership experience or an interest in departmental development.
  • Knowledge of current Design and Technology pedagogical approaches.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
