Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons to students in Years 7 to 11.
• Develop and implement engaging, curriculum-focused teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with the wider Design Technology and BET teams to enhance student outcomes.
• Support students’ academic progress and personal development through innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
• Contribute to the school’s commitment to excellence by participating in professional development and staff training.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress using a range of assessment methods.
• Stay up to date with developments in Design Technology and incorporate new ideas into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design Technology.
• Experience teaching students across Years 7 to 11.
• Commitment to student progress and personal development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with ECTs or in a school with a strong focus on professional development.
• Familiarity with research-based teaching methods.
• Experience in a school that values diversity and inclusion.
