Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons to students in Years 7 to 11.
- Develop and implement engaging, curriculum-focused teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with the wider Design Technology and BET teams to enhance student outcomes.
- Support students’ academic progress and personal development through innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to excellence by participating in professional development and staff training.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress using a range of assessment methods.
- Stay up to date with developments in Design Technology and incorporate new ideas into teaching.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design Technology.
- Experience teaching students across Years 7 to 11.
- Commitment to student progress and personal development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with ECTs or in a school with a strong focus on professional development.
- Familiarity with research-based teaching methods.
- Experience in a school that values diversity and inclusion.
