The Opportunity:
As a Development Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s fundraising and engagement activities. This is a pivotal time as the school transitions to co-education, opening up new opportunities for community development and fundraising. You will be instrumental in driving the ‘Road to 2035 Campaign’ and ensuring the smooth operation of development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage prospect identification, research, and cultivation strategies
- Oversee donor management and stewardship to build long-term relationships
- Ensure effective data management, analysis, and reporting for informed decision-making
- Coordinate financial processing and reporting to maintain transparency and accuracy
- Support the development team in achieving fundraising goals and campaign targets
- Maintain and improve systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency
- Provide insights and analysis to guide strategic development and engagement efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development activities with the school’s vision
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in fundraising operations or donor management
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Experience with donor relationship management systems
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to the school’s mission and values
Preferred
- Experience in education or non-profit fundraising
- Knowledge of campaign management and fundraising strategy
- Familiarity with financial reporting systems
- Experience with co-educational or independent school environments
- Strong understanding of CRM software and data analytics tools
