Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level.
  • Support students in achieving high academic standards through differentiated teaching and assessment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate actively in co-curricular and enrichment activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral and extracurricular involvement.
  • Stay up to date with curricular developments and incorporate them into teaching practice.
  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Maths education.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level Mathematics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to collaborative and reflective teaching practice.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Preferred

  • Advanced Further Maths skills.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring early career teachers.
  • Involvement in co-curricular or enrichment activities.
  • Experience with IT innovation in education.
