The Opportunity:

As the Director of Creative Arts, you will lead the development of a world-class Creative Arts programme that integrates Visual Arts, Music, Drama, and Dance into the school’s identity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a long-term vision for the Creative Arts aligned with the school’s mission and international outlook.
  • Provide inspirational leadership across Visual Arts, Music, Drama, and Dance, embedding a culture of artistic excellence.
  • Integrate the creative arts into the Cambridge International Curriculum, ensuring coherence and progression across all year groups.
  • Design and deliver an inclusive and aspirational arts programme that nurtures talent at every level.
  • Lead the planning and execution of flagship cultural events, including productions, concerts, exhibitions, and festivals.
  • Expand the co-curricular landscape through high-quality clubs, ensembles, and workshops.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with parents, alumni, and cultural stakeholders.
  • Forge strategic links with local and international arts institutions and organisations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Music, Drama, Visual Arts, or Dance.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in arts education.
  • Proven experience in directing high-quality productions or creative projects.
  • Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum or equivalent Arts curricula.

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience with international school settings.
