The Opportunity:

As the Director of Digital Learning and Innovation, you will lead the development and implementation of digital learning strategies across the school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the development of digital learning initiatives and innovation across the school.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to integrate technology into teaching and learning practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency through digital tools.
  • Teach approximately half a timetable each week, contributing directly to student learning.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in education.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align digital strategies with the school’s overall vision.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on the use of digital tools and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in educational technology or digital learning.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging digital tools in education.
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Relevant degree or qualification in education or a related field.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational institution setting.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and software.
  • Background in leading large-scale educational initiatives.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies in education.
