The Opportunity:

As a School Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support across various departments, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the school’s mission of fostering student growth and excellence. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills in a supportive and vibrant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to assigned areas within the school, including the Sixth Form Team, School Office, and Academic and Pastoral Leadership.
  • Assist with departmental support, attendance management, and other operational tasks as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for the areas you support.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure administrative needs are met promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Administrator and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures in daily administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to the development of administrative processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with the coordination of events, meetings, and other school-related activities as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with students, parents, and staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office and school management systems.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school environment, particularly with support roles in academic or pastoral leadership.
  • Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures.
  • Experience with managing attendance records or supporting Sixth Form activities.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently, with a willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities.
