The Opportunity:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and secure administration of public and school exams throughout the academic year. This is an opportunity to support a school that values integrity, dedication, and the well-being of its students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth and secure conduct of all public and school exams.
- Adhere to strict exam procedures and maintain a calm, focused environment for students.
- Monitor students during exams to prevent any form of malpractice or disruption.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the Exams Officer promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and follow up on any administrative requirements.
- Support the Exams Officer in preparing for and managing exam sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all school and external exam regulations.
- Assist with the distribution and collection of exam materials as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Previous experience in an invigilation role or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of exam regulations and procedures.
- Flexibility to work ad-hoc hours as required.
- Commitment to the values of a Catholic school.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.03, including holiday pay.
- Generous annual leave entitlement of 29 days (pro rata for part-time/term-time and casual staff).
