The Opportunity:

As Director of Inclusion, you will lead the strategic development of SEND provision and drive the Inclusion Faculty forward. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to shape a truly inclusive culture and make a tangible difference to student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic development and implementation of SEND provision across the school.
• Work closely with senior leaders, staff, families, and external agencies to deliver high-quality, inclusive education.
• Champion a culture of high expectations and ensure teaching is adaptive and responsive to diverse learner needs.
• Support staff in delivering inclusive practices and provide professional development opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of inclusion strategies on student outcomes and make data-informed decisions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
• Proven experience in leading successful inclusion initiatives and achieving strong outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, staff, and external agencies.
• Commitment to inclusive education and a culture of high expectations.
• Experience in a leadership role within education.

Preferred

• NPQ SENCO qualification or willingness to pursue it.
• Experience in a research-based or knowledge-rich curriculum setting.
• Background in driving up standards and inspiring others through high-quality teaching.
