The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all music-related activities across the school.
  • Develop and implement a vision for curricular and co-curricular music provision.
  • Organize and manage a diverse range of performances, including scholars concerts, solo and ensemble events, and major school celebrations.
  • Create and maintain a positive and inspiring learning environment for students.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate music into the broader educational experience.
  • Ensure the highest standards of musical excellence and performance quality.
  • Support the development of students’ musical talents and confidence.
  • Promote the school’s music program externally through events and outreach.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a music education setting.
  • Strong background in music performance, teaching, or administration.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating large-scale musical events and performances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering student development and engagement.

Preferred
