Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative drama lessons to students across a wide age range.
  • Support the development of students’ confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
  • Collaborate with boarding staff to provide a well-rounded student experience.
  • Participate in school events, productions, and community activities.
  • Work closely with other teachers to enhance the drama curriculum and student engagement.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students where appropriate.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Stay up to date with developments in drama education and incorporate new ideas into teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A graduate with a degree in drama, education, or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for drama, both on-stage and backstage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to work with students of all ages and support their development.
  • Commitment to working within a team-oriented and community-focused environment.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in teaching or working with children.
  • Experience in performing arts or stage production.
  • Familiarity with drama education frameworks or curricula.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
