The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified Drama and Music Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school. The role involves teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to inspire students through engaging and creative lessons. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Drama and Music across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student creativity and participation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
• Support students in achieving academic and personal growth through effective assessment and feedback.
• Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.
• Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate new ideas into teaching practice.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s curriculum and teaching standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Drama and Music.
• Experience teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive teaching practices.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and use digital tools such as Google Classroom.

Preferred

• Experience working with ECTs or in a supportive teaching environment.
• Background in curriculum development or innovative teaching methods.
• Experience with multi-academy trust structures or collaborative working.
• Knowledge of music and drama performance opportunities.
