The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Criminology, Health & Social Care, or Sociology.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the school’s curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject specialism.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 5 Criminology, Health & Social Care, or Sociology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering post-16 education.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with supporting students in a sixth-form setting.
  • A passion for fostering a love of the social sciences.
