We are seeking a passionate and talented Drama Teacher and Key Stage 3 English Teacher to inspire students through performance, creativity, and the power of language. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and ambitious Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach Key Stage 3 English, contributing to strong literacy outcomes
- Inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and expression through performance
- Promote a love of reading, writing, and spoken language
- Deliver a curriculum that includes performance, devising, and theatre study
- Support excellent rehearsal practice and creative collaboration
- Contribute to a culture of high expectations aligned with the school’s values
- Lead or support Drama clubs, productions, and performances
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Drama and Key Stage 3 English
- Strong subject knowledge in performance, devising, and theatre
- Commitment to inclusive teaching and improving outcomes for all learners
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Experience in delivering high-quality curriculum and assessment
Preferred
- Experience with theatre production or performance
- Willingness to take on leadership roles in Performing Arts
- Experience in form tutoring or pastoral care
- Background in coaching or professional development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
