We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher KS3 and KS4 to join our successful department. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young minds, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking Science team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, ambitious Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach AQA GCSE Science specifications
  • Promote strong scientific understanding, enquiry and curiosity
  • Plan, assess and adapt teaching to secure progress for all learners
  • Ensure safe and effective practical work in line with CLEAPSS guidance
  • Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking Science team
  • Uphold high expectations in line with school values
  • Support student success through inclusive and adaptive teaching strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong subject knowledge across Science (Chemistry/Physics desirable)
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and student success
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Familiarity with evidence-informed teaching strategies

Preferred

  • Experience with AQA GCSE Science specifications
  • Experience in curriculum development or STEM enrichment
  • Background in practical science teaching
  • Experience with CPD and professional development
