A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Computing to join a forward-thinking team. This role involves delivering high-quality Computing lessons that inspire students and support their learning journey across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver outstanding Computing lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, including programming, digital literacy, and computer science
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computing or a related discipline
  • Passion for teaching and learning, with the ability to inspire young people
  • High expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Computing at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities
  • Experience with digital literacy and programming
