Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Drama lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels
- Develop and implement a curriculum that supports student progress and achievement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and support student learning
- Provide pastoral care and support to students, contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback
- Represent the school at events and engage with the wider community
- Contribute to the development of the Drama department and its long-term vision
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
- Experience of teaching Drama at both GCSE and A Level
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Commitment to student well-being and personal development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience of working in a school with a strong focus on student outcomes
- Experience of delivering extracurricular Drama activities
- Familiarity with research-based teaching methods
- Experience of working within a multi-academy trust
