Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
- Develop and implement engaging teaching materials and programmes that support student progress.
- Monitor and assess student attainment, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.

- Participate in the planning and delivery of the school’s enrichment programme.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students, ensuring their well-being and personal development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Demonstrated commitment to child protection and safeguarding.
- Ability to evidence effective continuous professional development.
- Experience in delivering Science curriculum to students aged 11-16.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Science in a comprehensive school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in education.
- Knowledge of current Science curriculum and assessment requirements.
