The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join our Senior School and Sixth Form team. This role offers the chance to inspire students and deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 to KS5. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and innovative school environment focused on student growth and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality drama lessons across KS3 to KS5.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages creativity and performance.
- Participate actively in the school's extra-curricular programme and broader school life.
- Support students’ pastoral needs and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the performing arts programme.
- Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
- Ensure the delivery of lessons that align with the school’s ethos and values.
- Contribute to the assessment and progression of students in drama.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in delivering drama lessons across KS3 to KS5
- Strong commitment to pastoral care and student welfare
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of the school’s ethos and values
Preferred
- Experience in a similar educational setting
- Involvement in extra-curricular drama activities
- Experience with innovative and flexible curriculum delivery
- Background in performing arts or related fields
