As a Drama Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring students through creative and engaging lessons. You will contribute to a vibrant Expressive Arts faculty and help shape the educational experience of students in a school known for its outstanding progress and Ofsted Outstanding rating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality drama lessons that foster creativity and critical thinking.
  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum content aligned with school objectives.
  • Support student progress through personalized feedback and assessment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Expressive Arts faculty and school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance teaching expertise.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with the house system and pastoral support structures to enhance student well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in drama education.
  • Strong knowledge of drama pedagogy and curriculum development.
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching drama at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Experience in delivering drama at A Level or equivalent.
  • Experience with co-curricular and extracurricular drama activities.
  • Familiarity with the use of technology in drama education.
