Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a stimulating environment that supports each child’s learning journey using a child-led “in the moment” planning approach.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in all aspects of care and education.
  • Support children's development through planned and spontaneous learning opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for children, following safeguarding procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of learning areas and resources.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children under five.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with child-led learning approaches.
  • Experience with apprenticeship training or support.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to professional development.
