Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a stimulating environment that supports each child’s learning journey using a child-led “in the moment” planning approach.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in all aspects of care and education.
- Support children's development through planned and spontaneous learning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for children, following safeguarding procedures.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of learning areas and resources.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children under five.
- Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred
- Experience with child-led learning approaches.
- Experience with apprenticeship training or support.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to professional development.
