We are seeking a passionate and visionary Economics Teacher to join our highly successful department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a current PGCE student who is dedicated to inspiring and empowering students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental performance and student outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including co-curricular and community activities.
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students as needed.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively, offering targeted support where required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Economics.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Economics.
  • Commitment to student welfare and academic success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a department or taking on a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with teaching Economics at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching methods.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
