The Opportunity:

As a Sports Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the school's Sports Department and co-curricular programme. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for sports and a desire to contribute to the development of young athletes in a vibrant and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of PE and Sports activities, including coaching in Hockey, Netball, and Cricket.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of the school's co-curricular sports programme.
• Work closely with students in the boarding community to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
• Contribute to the overall pastoral care of students within the boarding house.
• Assist with the organisation and management of sports events and competitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A background in playing, studying, or coaching sports, particularly Hockey, Netball, and/or Cricket.
• A commitment to working within a boarding school environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching or coaching PE in a school setting.
• Knowledge of child safeguarding and welfare practices.
• Experience with sports development and youth coaching.
