The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Economics Teacher to join our Upper School team and inspire students to think critically and engage with real-world concepts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and eager to contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics and support delivery of Social Studies and Business/Enterprise courses to Upper School students.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that integrate technology and promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive and innovative curriculum.
  • Provide meaningful feedback to students to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of conduct and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of nurturing confident, caring, and well-rounded individuals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree and teaching qualification (QTS or teaching licence).
  • Proven experience teaching Economics to Upper School students.
  • Ability to teach Social Studies and Business/Enterprise.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience using Apple products.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in an international school.
  • Background in experiential learning or leadership development.
