Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Economics lessons that align with the IB curriculum and promote critical thinking.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor's of Education or PGCE with a relevant subject degree in Economics or Business Studies.
  • Proven experience in teaching Economics at the secondary or pre-university level.
  • Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and its pedagogical approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula, particularly the IB.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire students.
  • Experience in developing and delivering cross-curricular projects.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities or student leadership programs.
