The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Economics to students across a range of year groups, ensuring engaging and effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with academic standards and promote critical thinking.
- Support students in achieving outstanding results in public examinations and assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall academic and pastoral development of students.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as part of a holistic educational approach.
- Stay up to date with developments in Economics and education to enhance teaching methods.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Economics education.
- Strong subject knowledge in Economics and related fields.
- Experience working in a school environment, ideally within a similar educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s values of inclusivity, academic excellence, and student well-being.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching at both GCSE and A-Level.
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum and examination systems.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
- Previous involvement in extracurricular activities or leadership roles within a school.
