Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons that inspire students and support their academic success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
• Plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater to the diverse needs of all learners.
• Use data from assessments to inform teaching strategies and support student progress.
• Work with external professionals, such as therapists and psychologists, when necessary.
• Manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies and promote a respectful and motivating atmosphere.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the school’s community spirit.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in a related subject with the appropriate teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in an elementary setting.
• Strong understanding of the Massachusetts Common Core Curriculum.

Preferred

• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to the holistic development of students.
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or equivalent police check.
