As an Engagement and Wellbeing Lead (Behaviour Specialist), you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, student engagement, and wellbeing. This is a vital opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student behaviour and engagement.
- Provide specialist support to students experiencing behavioural or emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to promote wellbeing initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour management policies.
- Design and deliver tailored intervention plans to meet individual student needs.
- Collect and analyse data to identify trends in student behaviour.
- Support the development of inclusive and positive school culture.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and effective student support.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in behaviour management or a similar specialist role.
- Strong understanding of SEND, mental health, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to develop and deliver tailored intervention plans.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis related to student behaviour.
Preferred
- Experience in a specialist college or similar educational setting.
- Knowledge of creative and performing arts education.
- Experience with student wellbeing programs and initiatives.
- Familiarity with creative and digital industries.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
