The Opportunity:

As an Engagement and Wellbeing Lead (Behaviour Specialist), you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, student engagement, and wellbeing. This is a vital opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student behaviour and engagement.
  • Provide specialist support to students experiencing behavioural or emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to promote wellbeing initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour management policies.
  • Design and deliver tailored intervention plans to meet individual student needs.
  • Collect and analyse data to identify trends in student behaviour.
  • Support the development of inclusive and positive school culture.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and effective student support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in behaviour management or a similar specialist role.
  • Strong understanding of SEND, mental health, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to develop and deliver tailored intervention plans.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis related to student behaviour.

Preferred

  • Experience in a specialist college or similar educational setting.
  • Knowledge of creative and performing arts education.
  • Experience with student wellbeing programs and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with creative and digital industries.
