Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Engineering and Design and Technology to students at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies that support all learners, including those with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded curriculum.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching practice.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Engineering and Design and Technology.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and events that promote student engagement and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Engineering and Design and Technology.
- Proven ability to deliver vocational qualifications at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student success and social mobility.
- Experience in inclusive teaching and working with diverse student needs.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and current trends in Engineering and Design and Technology.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Background in safeguarding and child protection practices.
