Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 with a focus on high-quality, inclusive education.

- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Support students’ academic and personal development through effective assessment and feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in professional development and mentorship programmes to enhance your practice.
- Promote the school’s WE BELIEVE principles in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
- Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach KS5.
- Commitment to inclusive and high-quality education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with mentoring or supporting ECTs (Early Career Teachers).
- Familiarity with the school’s WE BELIEVE principles.
- Experience with pastoral care and student welfare.
- Background in developing and delivering CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions.
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting diverse student needs.
