Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons to students at GCSE and A Level.
• Inspire and engage students through innovative and creative teaching methods.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continued academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
• Support the school’s mission by fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in the school’s training and development programs to enhance professional skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English to at least GCSE level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take responsibility for student achievement.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience in a school with a strong academic reputation.
• Experience with initial teacher training or mentoring.
• Familiarity with teaching English as a Second Language.
• Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
