The Opportunity:

As a Physics Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and challenging students from KS3–KS5. You will lead engaging lessons, support academic progress, and contribute to a dynamic department focused on innovation and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver thought-provoking and challenging lessons that inspire and engage students across all key stages.
  • Foster analytical, ethical, and logical reasoning skills through meaningful classroom discussions.
  • Provide impactful feedback and use data to inform teaching strategies that accelerate student progress.
  • Contribute to the development of an innovative and collaborative Science department.
  • Support students’ personal growth as a form tutor, helping them become confident and reflective individuals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to teach Physics at A-Level with confidence and clarity.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Experience in using data to inform teaching and improve student outcomes.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion in line with the school’s values.
  • Ability to contribute to pastoral care and support student wellbeing.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering creative and engaging Physics lessons.
  • Background in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
  • Experience with pastoral care or form tutoring.
  • Familiarity with co-curricular activities and student engagement strategies.
