We are seeking an English Teacher to join a vibrant and growing school, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality English education to students from Year 7 to 13. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to students across Years 7 to 13.
- Support students' academic progress and personal development through effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Collaborate with the wider English and Communications teams to enhance the curriculum and improve student outcomes.
- Model excellent practice and maintain high standards of teaching and classroom management.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching methods and student engagement.
- Contribute to the development of a research-based, impactful approach to school improvement.
- Promote a culture of care, curiosity, and integrity within the school community.
- Work closely with students to ensure they achieve their personal best through a combination of support and challenge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified English Teacher with relevant experience.
- Passion for delivering excellent English provision to students of all abilities.
- Commitment to student academic progress and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
