The Opportunity:

We are seeking an English Teacher to join a vibrant and growing school, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality English education to students from Year 7 to 13. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to students across Years 7 to 13.
  • Support students' academic progress and personal development through effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with the wider English and Communications teams to enhance the curriculum and improve student outcomes.
  • Model excellent practice and maintain high standards of teaching and classroom management.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching methods and student engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of a research-based, impactful approach to school improvement.
  • Promote a culture of care, curiosity, and integrity within the school community.
  • Work closely with students to ensure they achieve their personal best through a combination of support and challenge.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified English Teacher with relevant experience.
  • Passion for delivering excellent English provision to students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to student academic progress and personal development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
