The Opportunity:

As a Hospitality Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that food and beverage services are delivered to the highest standard during events and functions. This is an opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a vibrant and growing institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Hospitality Coordinator to review scheduled functions and events.
  • Supervise and assist with the set-up of furniture and equipment for events.
  • Ensure food and beverage service is delivered in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Ensure guest needs are met in line with set procedures.
  • Ensure all dishes are transported efficiently and stations remain clean and clear.
  • Comply with the school’s safeguarding protocols and procedures.
  • Report any issues or feedback to the Hospitality Coordinator.
  • Attend training, briefings, and meetings as instructed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Understanding and commitment to safeguarding protocols.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a small team.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours as required.
  • Empathy with the school’s values and a positive, can-do attitude.

Preferred

  • NVQ Level 2 in Food and Beverage Service.
  • Previous experience in a school environment.
  • Proven track record in customer care within a food service setting.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or catering.
