The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to provide maternity cover within a supportive and high-achieving department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons that inspire a love of literature and language.
  • Support students in achieving outstanding outcomes through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a dynamic and inclusive curriculum.
  • Participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities that enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching English at the appropriate level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take responsibility for individual classes.

Preferred

  • Experience with extra-curricular activities or leadership roles within a school.
  • Familiarity with Catholic values and faith-based education.
  • Experience in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving high student outcomes.
