We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to provide maternity cover on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across the curriculum to students of all abilities.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

• Use the IB Learner Profile as a framework to develop internationally-minded students.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in English education at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
• Experience in working within a collaborative team and supporting student learning outcomes.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience with the IB curriculum or inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Familiarity with teaching diverse student groups and supporting students with varying learning needs.
• Experience in developing and delivering a globally focused and culturally rich curriculum.
• Strong leadership and team-working skills.
