As an ESOL Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching that empowers students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with curriculum requirements
  • Plan and deliver inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
  • Monitor student progress, attendance, and engagement, taking appropriate action where needed
  • Provide clear targets and timely, constructive feedback to support student achievement
  • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities across the curriculum
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in line with the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and support learners

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment
