The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver teaching/learning programmes using a range of strategies and learning styles.
• Develop and adapt learning resources to meet individual learner needs.
• Assess student progress and devise assessment processes against personalized targets.
• Take responsibility for the quality of teaching and curriculum development.
• Support learners in College or on work experience with tailored guidance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Engage in Continuous Professional Development to enhance teaching practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2.
• A Level 4 Teaching Qualification or equivalent, to be achieved within 3 years of appointment.
• Relevant assessment qualifications (IQA/A1/V1).
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
• Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Experience in teaching and a passion for working with SEND learners.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Background in further education or related fields.
• Experience with virtual learning environments (VLE).
• Knowledge of apprenticeship and work-based learning frameworks.
