The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality A Level and BTEC Physics courses to students.
- Support students in progressing to university, apprenticeships, and other pathways.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to develop and share teaching resources.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, both academically and personally.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience or Early Careers Teacher (ECT) status.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics and related fields.
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in teaching A Level Physics or willingness to transition into sixth form teaching.
Preferred
- Experience with BTEC Level 3 Engineering courses.
- Experience in delivering A Level Physics or related subjects.
- Experience with safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in curriculum development or innovative teaching methods.
