Exam Access Arrangements Coordinator needed to support students with learning needs.

The Opportunity:

As an Exam Access Arrangements Coordinator, you will ensure students with additional learning needs have fair access to assessments. This role is vital in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting learners to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage internal and external examination access arrangements.
  • Assess and implement support strategies in line with statutory guidelines.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and external bodies to ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all access arrangements.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on exam access procedures.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of current arrangements.
  • Liaise with students and their families to understand individual needs.
  • Ensure all arrangements are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 7 SpLD Assessor qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing exam access arrangements.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. JCQ).

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a similar role within education.
  • Experience with students with additional learning needs.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
  • Experience with assessment and evaluation processes.
