The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Exam Invigilator GCSE to help oversee internal examinations during the GCSE summer exam season in May/June 2026. This role is ideal for someone who is responsible, flexible, and committed to supporting students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage internal examinations in line with school policies and procedures.
• Ensure a fair and secure examination environment for all students.
• Support students who require access arrangements, including scribing or reading.
• Attend training sessions to ensure full understanding of examination protocols.
• Work flexible hours during the exam period, with availability negotiated on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with the existing invigilation team to maintain consistency and quality.
• Maintain accurate records and report any issues or incidents promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations during examination periods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
• Ability to work flexible daytime hours during the exam period.
• Commitment to supporting students of all abilities.
• Willingness to undergo and complete training provided by the school.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

• Experience in an educational or examination setting.
• Previous experience with students who have special educational needs and disabilities.
• Familiarity with examination procedures and access arrangements.
• A background in education or related fields.

Compensation & Benefits:

• £13.25 per hour.
