Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
- Promote a culture of physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
- Plan and implement a varied and engaging curriculum that supports both physical competence and personal development.
- Supervise students in changing facilities and PE activities in accordance with safeguarding and privacy guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s mission and values.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and physical activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress in PE, providing constructive feedback.
- Promote the school’s ethos of ambition, integrity, and respect through teaching and leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with male students in a school setting.
- Experience in coaching or leading sports teams.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and curriculum development.
- Experience with pastoral care and student wellbeing.

- Competitive salary within the MPS/UPS range (£32,916 - £51,048).
