The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of examinations by ensuring all candidates follow JCQ regulations. This is a casual, flexible position that supports the smooth running of internal and external exams throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all examination procedures are followed accurately and in line with JCQ regulations.
  • Monitor candidates to maintain a calm and focused environment during exams.
  • Report any irregularities or concerns promptly to the appropriate staff.
  • Assist with the setup and management of examination venues.
  • Support the administration of mock examinations when required.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions to stay updated on procedures and protocols.
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons, as required.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful attitude at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment during examination periods.
  • Commitment to upholding academic integrity and examination standards.
  • Excellent communication and observational skills.
  • Flexibility to work on a casual basis during key examination periods.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an exam invigilation or similar role.
  • Familiarity with JCQ or other examination regulations.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
