The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure the proper conduct of tests and examinations, creating a focused environment that supports student learning and achievement. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of the assessment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all examination conditions are met in the assigned room.
  • Monitor students to ensure they follow instructions and maintain appropriate behavior.
  • Provide clear guidance on test procedures and rules.
  • Maintain a calm and focused environment throughout the examination.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to the relevant authority.
  • Ensure all examination materials are properly secured and handled.
  • Support the smooth running of the assessment process.
  • Assist with the collection and storage of completed examination papers.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in monitoring or supervising students in an educational setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain discipline.
  • Commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an exam invigilation role.
  • Familiarity with school policies and procedures.
  • Experience working within a school or educational institution.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
