The Opportunity:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure the smooth and fair administration of examinations. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the testing process and providing students with a structured and respectful environment to demonstrate their knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper conduct of school tests and examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Create and maintain a test/exam environment that supports students in performing to the best of their ability.
- Provide clear instructions to students and monitor their behavior throughout the examination.
- Ensure that all examination materials are handled securely and confidentially.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the relevant staff members promptly.
- Collaborate with other invigilators and support staff to maintain consistency across all exams.
- Adhere to all school and federation policies related to examinations and student conduct.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a supervisory or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and fairness.
Preferred
- Previous experience in exam invigilation or related roles.
- Familiarity with examination systems and procedures.
- Experience working within a school or educational federation.
