The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will supervise students during examination periods, ensuring a disciplined and fair environment. Your role is essential in upholding the integrity of the exams according to strict guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during examination periods to maintain good order and focus.
• Ensure compliance with examination board rules and school policies.
• Monitor students to prevent any breaches of exam regulations.
• Report any incidents or concerns to the relevant staff promptly.
• Assist in the setup and management of examination rooms.
• Support the smooth running of exams throughout the academic year.
• Maintain accurate records of exam-related activities.
• Collaborate with other invigilators and staff to ensure consistency and fairness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in exam supervision or similar roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain discipline.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Previous experience in an educational setting.
• Familiarity with examination regulations and procedures.
• Flexibility to work term-time only and as required.
• Experience with safeguarding and compliance processes.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate of £17.14 (including annual leave).
• Casual worker contract – as and when required.
• Term time only working pattern.
