The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Examinations Administrator to support the smooth running of examinations in line with JCQ regulations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about ensuring a quality experience for learners and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer examination processes in accordance with JCQ regulations;
  • Organize and manage specific examinations, including booking invigilators and setting up examination rooms;
  • Support the Examinations Officers with administrative tasks and logistics;
  • Ensure all examination equipment is checked and functioning correctly;
  • Assist with the checking, packing, and distribution of examination papers;
  • Promote the welfare of children and young people throughout the examination process;
  • Develop effective working relationships with staff and external stakeholders;
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to examinations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent);
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Appropriate level of digital literacy.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or administrative role;
  • Knowledge of JCQ regulations and examination procedures;
  • Experience with invigilation processes;
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
