The Opportunity:

As an Examinations Officer, you will play a vital role in managing and supporting the certification and examination process for students. This is a dynamic and impactful position, offering the chance to contribute to student progression and success within a growing and forward-thinking institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a busy Exams department.
  • Liaise with awarding bodies and cross college departments to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Support all aspects of certification and examination processes with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff.
  • Follow structured processes and procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency.
  • Use initiative and work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Ensure all documentation and records are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proactive and independent working ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Confident and well-organised with good IT skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or examination-related role.
  • Familiarity with awarding bodies and certification processes.
  • Experience with student support and progression.
  • Knowledge of educational software and systems.
