The Opportunity:
As an Examinations Officer, you will play a vital role in managing and supporting the certification and examination process for students. This is a dynamic and impactful position, offering the chance to contribute to student progression and success within a growing and forward-thinking institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a busy Exams department.
- Liaise with awarding bodies and cross college departments to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
- Support all aspects of certification and examination processes with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service to students and staff.
- Follow structured processes and procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Use initiative and work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Ensure all documentation and records are maintained to the highest standard.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- At least Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proactive and independent working ability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confident and well-organised with good IT skills.
Preferred
- Experience in an educational or examination-related role.
- Familiarity with awarding bodies and certification processes.
- Experience with student support and progression.
- Knowledge of educational software and systems.
