The Opportunity:
As Executive Assistant, you will provide essential support to senior leaders, ensuring seamless coordination of executive activity and enabling effective leadership within a fast-paced environment. This role is central to the success of the National Team and plays a key part in supporting Trust-wide initiatives and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the CEO’s inbox and diary, ensuring effective prioritisation and scheduling
- Provide proactive administrative and project support to the CEO and Executive Director of Education
- Prepare agendas, coordinate papers, and support executive and leadership meetings
- Track actions and ensure follow-up on key priorities
- Draft and coordinate internal communications, including Trust-wide updates
- Arrange travel, meetings, events, and logistics
- Support budget tracking, expenses, and general administration
- Coordinate Trust-wide events and key organisational activities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive assistant role
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a school or educational setting, preferably within a multi-academy trust
- Confident in managing sensitive and confidential information
Preferred
- Experience providing support to senior leaders or executive teams
- Familiarity with school improvement processes and Trust-wide initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting formal documents
- Experience with event coordination and logistics management
- Knowledge of educational governance and leadership structures
