The Opportunity:

As Executive Assistant, you will provide essential support to senior leaders, ensuring seamless coordination of executive activity and enabling effective leadership within a fast-paced environment. This role is central to the success of the National Team and plays a key part in supporting Trust-wide initiatives and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CEO’s inbox and diary, ensuring effective prioritisation and scheduling
  • Provide proactive administrative and project support to the CEO and Executive Director of Education
  • Prepare agendas, coordinate papers, and support executive and leadership meetings
  • Track actions and ensure follow-up on key priorities
  • Draft and coordinate internal communications, including Trust-wide updates
  • Arrange travel, meetings, events, and logistics
  • Support budget tracking, expenses, and general administration
  • Coordinate Trust-wide events and key organisational activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive assistant role
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting, preferably within a multi-academy trust
  • Confident in managing sensitive and confidential information

Preferred

  • Experience providing support to senior leaders or executive teams
  • Familiarity with school improvement processes and Trust-wide initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting formal documents
  • Experience with event coordination and logistics management
  • Knowledge of educational governance and leadership structures
