The Opportunity:
As the Executive Headteacher, you will lead a high-performing institution while influencing strategic initiatives across the Trust. This role offers the chance to drive innovation and improvement at scale, shaping the future of education in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the school with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the Trust's vision and goals.
- Collaborate with other schools within the Eastern Learning Alliance to share best practices and drive system-wide improvement.
- Support national and regional education programmes, including DfE initiatives such as RISE and the Attendance & Behaviour Hub.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and excellence across the school community.
- Work closely with senior leadership teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality education and student outcomes.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to build strong partnerships and support student success.
- Oversee the professional development of staff and ensure a supportive and innovative teaching environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles within education, preferably as an Executive Headteacher or equivalent.
- Strong track record in school improvement and raising attainment across all student groups.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of education policy and current best practices in teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational structure.
- Familiarity with DfE initiatives and programmes such as RISE and the Attendance & Behaviour Hub.
- Experience in driving innovation and collaboration across a network of schools.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education and support for students with additional needs or English as an additional language.
